Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her greatest roles are the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic thriller Precious. When she was a child she was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. She was raised by her mom who loved watching films. Paula loved participating in school co-curriculars and she was a huge fan of drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her friends and participated in school's stage shows. She was a part of numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. She attended an acting program at the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved it. She won an assignment for PBS to create documentaries over the course of three months. As soon as she completed the three-month assignment successfully the first task was working in the production department for documentaries on television. The next thing she did was begin producing documentaries. Even though she loved working in the field, she yearned to be an actress. She started her career in acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star in romance comedy Hitch. Since then she's appeared in numerous productions and films.
