Rubi Rose Benton was conceived in Lexington, Kentucky on October 2 1997. Her parents were Nardos Ghebrelul (her mother ), an Eritrean dentist who immigrated to the United States and was raised in Ethiopia) and John Benton (her father) both of whom are lawyers with Japanese, African American, and European descent. The father of her was adopted. Scarlette is an older sister . Coral is the younger sister. 2] She was baptized in Orthodox Christianity as a child. She majored in political sciences at Georgia State University. She grew to love Marvin Gaye's music, as well as the sounds of Biggie, Prince, Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan. Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj are among her idols. Rose was initially famous by being the main model in hip-hop group Migos their music video for the single "Bad and Boujee". She began regularly appearing on Twitch streams at this point alongside East Coast hip hop commentator DJ Akademiks. Rose's music career began in September 2018 when she released her remix of the track "On Top" and was produced by Playboi. Her single "Big Mouth" it gained her acclaim. in the year 2019. Rose was featured in American rapper Cardi B's music video for her track "WAP" The song was released on the 7th of August, 2020. A&R Chris Turner signed Rose to the record label of LA Reid Hitco Entertainment in 2019. Rubi is also famous for her high-profile romantic relationships. She has been linked to such celebrities as Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Ian Connor, 21 Savage, Soulja Boy, Lil Yachty, Takeoff, Lil Tjay & DDG. She is currently unmarried.
